Graduate Engineers - The Role:

The role will involve developing and building upon your technical abilities, ideally with some level of PLC programming or Electrical Design already, but this isnt essential. What is essential is the want to train and the understanding or knowledge of electrical engineering.

We would expect from your time spent at university or further study, that you will have prior exposure to electrical engineering. If you have experience of other programming languages ie C++, C# or Java for software or any electrical CAD design package for hardware, this would be highly advantageous, but not essential.

The role will suit a more practical person that wishes to create a varied career and likes to be more hands on and see machinery move. The role does involve the use of small hand tools whilst on site for the moving of sensors in the field and will involve electrical fault finding and commissioning

You will see the software and design process from concept to completion

Which will include some time spent in the office and some time on customer sites.

Flexibility to travel is essential.

The ideal candidate will be a self driven team-player who enjoys learning new skills.

Positions are based in the East Midlands and is commutable from within and around Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Grantham.
