Junior Control Systems Engineer - The Role:

• Work on innovative projects across a number of sectors with a key focus on renewable energy
• Work alongside Senior Control Engineers in the development & commissioning of Control Systems – will learn/gain further experience in the design, documentation, development & testing of a variety of PLC & SCADA control systems, predominantly with Siemens and/or Rockwell
• Site Commissioning to locations within the UK and Worldwide – c30%

Junior Control Systems Engineer - The Person:

• Previous experience working within the Control Systems sector, preferably within the water, utilities & power generation industries
• Competent to write some PLC code with a level of independence

This systems integrator has a long history providing innovative control systems solutions across the process control market and have successfully used this background to further develop into new areas.

As part of your development plan, you will have the options to:

• Work directly with the business Cyber Security expert, training to become skilled in this area
• Within the next 2-3 years, be offered formal functional safety training
• Learn how to complete electrical design for industrial panels using Eplan

All of this alongside continuation of developing your control systems software skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to learn and diversify their experience.

Located in West Midlands, this role would be commutable from Worcester, Bromsgrove, Droitwich Spa, Halesowen, Stratford upon Avon, Kenilworth, Solihull, Cheltenham, Hereford, Malvern & Kidderminster.
