Control Systems Engineer

£35,000 - £50,000 + paid overtime, matched pension, paid mileage & healthcare

North West based. Electrical discipline. 13M T/O business.

Control Systems Engineer – The Role:

• Systematic approach to analysis, design, assessment, implementation & testing of control systems
• Project completion from concept design through to implementation including planning and organisation
• Possess ability to commission on site hardware including communication systems between VSD’s and other peripheral hardware
• Work with a team to ensure projects are delivered within a time frame to the customers specification
• Compiling and maintaining records as required, following relevant regulations & legislation
• Ensuring self and team comply with health & safety and other relevant regulations & legislation
• Responding to incidents and taking corrective action so they’re resolved

Control Systems Engineer – The Person:

• Preferably have a relevant qualification, skill and experience within the same or similar field
• Literate and numerate
• Understanding of relevant procedures and practices
• Managerial capability
• Working knowledge of current health & safety procedures and policies
• Essential – knowledge of Siemens S7, Rockwell or Schneider
• Knowledge of TIA PLC would be beneficial – as would a background of FMCG or Automotive Projects
• Competent in using company IT systems

Located in the North West, this role is commutable from Chester, Wrexham, Rhyl

This role is open to Junior, Engineer & Senior, however may also suit Senior Control Engineer
