Control Systems Engineer - The Role:

? Full Lifecycle Projects for a range of process applications within Food & Beverage, Rail and Water Industries.

• Creation of URS/FDS Documentation

• Design & development of PLC Code from concept (Rockwell & Siemens)

• SCADA Systems implementation

• Electrical/Control Panel Design.

• Testing of Electrical Systems - FAT

• Travel to customer sites to carry out site commissioning activities (SAT), post installation support or customer training

 

Control Systems Engineer - The Person:

• Degree in Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline or have significant experience

• Process Automation background

• Previous skills utilising the following would be an advantage:

- Rockwell Automation products – RSLogix/Studio 5000 / FactoryTalk

- Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7

- GE Fanuc iFix and Aveva InTouch & System Platform - but all SCADA packages accepted

- AutoCAD / Electrical

• Good communication skills with the ability to work well as a team and relate well with clients

• Looking for a self-motivated and ambitious individual with willingness and flexibility

 

Located in Sheffield, this role would be commutable from Rotherham, Chesterfield & Bakewell. You must be flexible to support commissioning activities within the UK when required, however, this is only 15% of your time.
