Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

• Design, manage and develop electrical control systems hardware
• Manage electrical engineering team and monitor performance
• Generate customer build drawings and specifications
• Collaborate on Product Improvement
• Manage all technical risks
• Work with project team on planning / costs
• Participate in regular system design reviews
• Compliance to Conformity Standards (UKCA/UL/CE)
• Report time & cost impact on any design changes
• Perform test and inspections on electrical equipment

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

• Electrical / Electronic / Software Engineering degree
• A sound understanding of engineering principles
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Capable in the technical design of Electrical Systems
• Experience designing using industry specific software
• Knowledge of PLC based control systems an advantage

Located in West Lothian, this role would be commutable from Edinburgh, Shotts, Bathgate, Livingston, Falkirk and Cumbernauld.
