Control Systems Engineer - The Role:

• Programming and modifying control systems - (PLC Siemens S7).
• Assist in design of low voltage electrical circuits and control panels for machine control – Autocad Electrical.
• Assist in preparation of technical documentation issued to client and our electricians.
• Installation of software to new machines.
• Software testing and fault finding.
• Technical assistance with supporting customer machines in the field.
• Looking at costings on electrical or software items wherever possible.
• Communicate with team members on all projects including R & D and advise them of any issues that need to be rectified. 

Control Systems Engineer - The Person:

• Experience of PLC programming. Experience with Siemens S7 ideally.
• Proficient at electrical design and electrical drawings.
• A helpful, teamwork oriented personality is important.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Located in Essex, this role would be commutable from Colchester, Clacton-on-Sea, Harwich and Ipswich.

Role would be suitable for Engineers with experience of Control Systems and Electrical Design.
