£50,000 - £60,000 + Car, Pension, Healthcare & Bonus

Commission Earnings c£20k+

Business Development Manager - The Role:

• Work alongside the Managing Director to further grow the business as well as managing a number of long standing accounts
• Take responsibility for the larger projects to take the onus away from the MD

Business Development Manager - The Person:

• Solid background with proven experience of solution sales incorporating the entire process from initial call through tender & bid phase is ideal – the engineering team is available for more detailed quotes, however we would like someone able to assist clients from a blank slate
• Technical automation engineering background essential

• Proven sales ability OR proven control systems engineering ability with an aptitude for sales
• Experience working on multiple smaller value projects
• Available contacts within the process automation marketplace i.e. Food, FMCG, Warehouse & Distribution would be helpful
• Full UK valid driving license
• Proven ability for solution sales

Located in East Midlands, this role would be commutable from Sheffield, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Matlock, Worksop and surrounding areas. You are not expected in the office daily.

The business is in excellent shape, therefore the MD also feels there is scope available for a skilled Engineer who wants to move into a technical sales role as there will be time to train.
