Assistant Project Manager - The Role:

• Assisting Project Managers with complex project management tasks
• Taking personal control of small projects for a variety of clients - values £10-100k
• Monitoring the overall commercial performance of projects
• Communicating regularly with internal stakeholders and clients
• Ensuring adherence to quality procedures
• Supporting Project Co-ordinators or Administrators

Assistant Project Manager - The Person:

• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
• Knowledge of electrical installations and control systems including either control panels or MCC’s, PLC, SCADA, Instrumentation or Telemetry systems
• HNC or Degree – Electrical, Measurement or Control subject
• Good interpersonal, problem-solving skills, with commercial awareness
• Excellent communication skills
• A positive, approachable, willing and helpful team player

This role will require a strong focus on personal development through regular application of complex tasks and small project delivery,with a view to progressing to Project Manager. There may be travel to client sites to review progress and to ensure packages of work are to standard.
