A thriving company specialising in access and material lifting systems for the offshore and renewables sectors, in collaboration with a global leader in offshore wind are expanding their operations and looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team.


Control Systems Engineer 


£40,000 - £55,000 DOE + Pension, Life Assurance & 33 Days Hols

Control Systems Engineer - The Role:

  • Design, develop, and implement control systems
  • Develop, test and verify PLC and HMI software, including safety-related software
  • Engage with suppliers for sourcing components
  • Contribute to the development of new product features
  • Design and implement OT security solutions
  • Author and review software documentation
  • Lead or support testing and commissioning of systems
  • Participate in Design Reviews


Control Systems Engineer - The Person:

  • Experience with Siemens PLC programming (TIA Portal)
  • Experience with motion control and variable speed drives beneficial
  • A minimum of two years in a similar, highly technical role
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline to BSc level or above
  • Knowledge of essential documentation for the PLM (SDS, FDS, IO lists etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player with a “can-do” attitude
