This client is one of the leading suppliers of material flow and internal logistics systems. For more than sixty years they have developed complete solutions - from the idea through to complete realisation in the field of transport, material flow, sorting technology, assembly, warehouse technology including control & automation, stock management systems and IT integration - all from a single source.

 

This is an exciting time to join this developing team as they grow to support blue chip clients throughout the UK.

 

Two Control Systems Engineers are urgently required; you will have the ability to control projects from concept, completing functional design specifications, software design using Siemens equipment (PLC, HMI, SCADA) then overseeing installation and commissioning.

 

There is an element of UK travel required to commission projects; therefore flexibility is essential. This position is available immediately and open to Engineers or Senior Engineers with experience of Siemens S7 and/or Allen Bradley and machinery or automated handling project experience.

 

Knowledge of TIA Portal and bar code readers would be extremely beneficial (SICK, Data Logic)

German language skills would be highly advantageous.

 

This role is based in the East Midlands and is commutable from within and around Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Grantham.
