PCS7 Control Systems Engineer

Leading control systems integrator now seeking a hands-on Control Systems Engineer with the capability to manage own projects.

 

The sucessful Control Systems Engineer will be proficient with handling full lifecycle projects from initial concept, design, documentation, configuration, internal testing and customer testing to commissioning and ongoing support.

 

Presently, they are looking to add experience with the PCS7 platform therefore proven ability with this software is essential. Any additional background of the following control systems would be advantageous:

  • Allen Bradley / Rockwell  - SLC, Logix 5000
  • Siemens S7
  • Emerson Delta-V, Provox, SIS
  • SCADA design and programming – Proficy iFIX, RSView, FactoryTalk, Wonderware
  • HMI development
  • Industrial IT and enterprise level solutions – Historian, IP21

 

Degree qualification or equivalent in a relevant related discipline beneficial, however experience within the process control field is more important. Significant experience within pharmaceutical and/or chemical industry a distinct advantage.

 

Much of the work carried out will be on client sites, so the ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to travel. Occasional working away from home will be necessary. You will require a full UK valid driving licence & have access to a car
