Lead Installation Electrician – c60% Travel, International & UK

Leading systems integrator for food and processing automation has an immediate requirement for a Lead Installation Electrician with solid experience of control panel build & test to quoted specification, timescale & cost targets.

The Lead Electrician must have experience of the following:

·           C&G Level 3 Electrical Certificate or equivalent

·           Be competent to read/understand electrial schematics

·           Have knowledge of current regulations & safety standards

·           Current experience of bespoke control panel build, panel layount & assembly of components, 3 phase & flexibar wiring, point to point panel wiring and panel testing/fault finding

·           Be experienced with completeing panel modifications, IO testing and electrical commissioning on-site

·           Must have knowledge of control hardware i.e. Rockwell (Powerflex drives, PLC, controlgear), Telemechanique (drives, controlgear), Merlin Gerin, Siemens etc

Any additional experience of the following would be highly desirable:

·           BS7671 2018 requirements for electrical installations, C&G Inspection & Testing, ECS

·           Writing risk assesments & method statements

·           Experience with industrial electrical installations

·           Site experience working as an industrial electrician

We are open to applications from both Engineer and Lead Engineer with salary commensurate with experience. With paid overtime, allowances and bonus, you can also expect an excellent OTE.

This role is commutable from within and around the following areas: Cambridge, Kings Lynn, Peterborough, Loughborough, Bedford and Spalding.
