Immediate opportunity available for a skilled Project Manager ideally with background of delivering MES solutions to join a market leading software business. The Project Manager will be joining a company who excel in the provision of Industry 4.0 through Manufacturing Operations Management, OT and Analytical Solutions for high-volume blue chip manufacturing companies throughout the globe. They have installations in 25+ international locations with clients who are FTSE 100 or Fortune 500 companies for a diverse range of vertical markets.

They have a fantastic reputation in manufacturing and a wonderful company culture and now wish to recruit an Automation/MES Project Manager. We are looking for candidates with proven ability to:

·       Ability to mentor and manage individuals with varying degrees of skills and experience.

·       Capable of working on mulitple projects simultaneously & be able to re-act to a fast-changing environment

·       Able to present to clients for project purposes and for the need to support pre-sales.

·       Good people motivation and management skills

·       Solid commercial skills

·       Excellent customer facing skills in order to lead client relationships during project phase

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who is passionate about technology and digital manufacturing. Ideally, your background will include:

·       Previous systems integration background

·       Worked in a similar role with MES implementation

·       Have worked up from a Controls Engineer through to Project Manager – having a solid technical understanding of lower level systems through to high level software would be ideal

·       Background of successfully delivering projects into the FMCG/Pharmaceutical markets

·       Degree level education preferred, or equivalent industrial experience

The ideal candidate will be seeking a challenging position, have a high level of commitment, with a thirst for keeping abreast of new and developing technologies.

This role can be based remotely, as long as you are prepared to travel to the office as required for client meetings, along with some site travel.
