Service/Commissioning Engineer – PLC/SCADA/Instrumentation

£35,000 - £40,000 + Healthcare, Pension, Flexi-time & 25 Holidays

Service/Commissioning Engineer – The Role:

• On and offshore site visits, carrying out installation, commissioning, site surveys & service
• Providing key technical support
• Carrying out modification, configuration and implementation of PLC’s, Flow Computers and supervisory control systems
• Provide product specific training to internal and external customers

Service/Commissioning Engineer – The Person:

• Flexibility to undertake a high level of travel nationally and internationally – average 4 months per year
• A good understanding of software configuration and experience of PLC, HMI or DCS based control systems
• Experience of working in a demanding technical environment with a good knowledge of instrumentation
• Some experience of software programming with exposure to C++ and SQL, with Java also being beneficial but not essential
