Mechanical Design Engineer – The Role:

• Creation of P&ID’s
• Producing calculations for process flow rates, hopper volumes
• Produce 3D general assembly drawings of equipment
• Preparation of both 2D (AutoCAD) & 3D (Solidworks) general arrangement & plant layout drawings
• Produce detailed 2D drawings for fabricated parts e.g. hoppers, pipes, chutes
• Liaising with sales for technical input during the quotation preparation stage
• Produce equipment specification documents for proprietary of equipment
• Attending project review meetings
• Creation of BOMs
• Ordering equipment/liaison with suppliers

Mechanical Design Engineer – The Person:

• Must have worked to BN/EN standards & ideally be aware of ATEX regulations
• Experience in motors, pumps, pneumatic/electro-pneumatic controls is desirable

Located in the East Midlands, this role is commutable from within & around Nottingham, Mansfield, Chesterfield & Belper.
