World leading manufacturer of CNC Machine Tools now urgently requires a new Field Service Engineer with experience of 5 Axis machines to join their highly skilled and growing team of Engineers covering Scotland and the UK.

To be considered for this position it is essential that you have experience of 5 Axis Machine Tools in a Field Service Role.

Ideally, you will also:

·         Be Apprentice trained

·         Have previously worked for a Machinery OEM – Ideally CNC Milling Machines

·         Have experience in a field based role – Including spending nights away from home

·         Possess knowledge of both fault finding and rectification as well as assembly of complex 5 Axis machinery

·         Any ability with fault finding of Siemens or similar CNC helpful

Main Duties Include:

·         Fault finding and rectification of machines on customer sites, around Scotland and then occasionally the UK

·         Initial Set-up of Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Large Assemblies

·         Full strip down/dismantle of Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Large Assemblies

·         Assisting with machinery installations and relocations

We are seeking candidates located along the M7 corridor, Glasgow or Edinburgh.

The role is available due to retirement, however the business are expanding with other opportunities around the UK. They have not made one redundancy through the entire pandemic. They also had extremely limited furlough.
