Machinery Safety Systems Engineer

Midlands based systems integrator has urgent need for a contractor to work on a two machinery automation projects currently being handled.

Contractors should have experience in specifying and validating safety systems. You should be proficient in writing safety software using Siemens and Rockwell software. Ideal contractors will have machinery safety experience and be familiar is ISO13849-1, ideally with TUV certification although not essential.

The contract will entail:

• Take the risk assesment
• Produce the safety requirement specification
• Complete the software
• Carry out the safety validation specification
• Complete a SISTEMA report

NB: We are also open to an Electrical Design Engineer with the relevant safey knowledge providing you have proben ability to liaise with the client, specify the concept and complete the validation.

Duration roughly 3 months. Start as soon as possible.

Office based with some site work towards the end of the project.
