Control Systems Engineer

£35,000 - £55,000 DOE + Pension & Allowances.

Nottinghamshire based. Ref: 22534

Control Systems Engineer – The Role:

• Taking a project from its inception through to final commissioning
• Electrical Control System Design
• PLC programming
• HMI and SCADA configuration
• Writing of functional and test specifications - this will include documentation, testing, validation and customer support.
• Will involve an element of travel to commission the projects – typically up to 15%, mainly UK but may include overseas

Control Systems Engineer – The Person:

• Ideally have experience with Siemens / Mitsubishi PLC platforms
• Have knowledge of Motor Starters, Soft Start Units, Inverter Drives & general LV control circuits
• Must also be able to interface with mechanical engineers to ensure the delivery of a functional automation solution
• Experience of electrical design of automation projects utilising AutoCAD
• Exposure to or a want to develop PLC software skills ideal

This role would suit Engineers who enjoy both hardware and/or software design. Opportunity is also open to junior Engineers who are looking for the next step in their career. A small family run business offering bespoke machinery development for a variety of clients/industry sectors.
