Mechanical Fitter

£25,000 - £35,000 + overtime, 10% Bonus, mileage and pension.

North West based role.

Mechanical Engineer – The Role:

• Mechanical fitting and building of bespoke automated machinery & conveyors.
• Install & remove original equipment & conveyor systems & any other bespoke parts – frequently working alone or unsupervised
• Support & take responsibility for projects from assistance to Engineers as requested
• Manage many different jobs at one time using own & Directors judgement to prioritise
• Manage company resources through appropriate use & maintenance of equipment, tools & supplies
• Installations carried out onsite throughout the UK & Ireland – c50% of your time

Mechanical Engineer – The Person:

• Minimum ONC/HNC qualified
• Experienced in machine installation, preferably in line control of a FMCG industry
• Experience of working with different voltages (24V AC/DC; 240V AC; 415V AC)
• Ability to read & understand Electrical & Mechanical drawings with experience of CAD
• Basic Electrical skills - wiring of control panels desirable but not essential
• Knowledge in conveyor systems & robot systems would be a plus
• Must be flexible to travel as and when required

Located in the North West, role is commutable from in & around Manchester, Stockport, Warrington, Bolton, Skelmersdale or Wigan

This role would suit a Mechanical Build Engineer, Mechanical Installations Engineer, or a Mechanical Service Engineer, seeking to reduce their travel
