Control Systems Engineer – The Role:

• Design PLC based electrical control systems from design specifications
• Work with electricians and panel builders, assisting in the design & build of control systems
• Program PLC, touchscreen & safety configurable relay systems
• Configure remote I/O, servo motor and inverter drives
• Integrating ancillary equipment into the production lines such as vision systems
• Fault finding electrical control systems, PLC and hardware systems
• Commissioning, support and service work at customer sites
• Work closely with the team to gain experience and an understanding of the machinery & control system designs

Control Systems Engineer – The Person:

• Ideally HND/HNC qualified within a relevant Electrical discipline  
• A firm grounding in control systems and PLC based control would be beneficial – experience with Allen Bradley & Omron PLCs highly desirable
• Be flexible for worldwide travel to customer sites

Based in the South East, this role would be commutable from Chelmsford, Harlow, Southend, Colchester & surrounding areas.
