A specialist manufacturer of bespoke machinery for the automotive industry is now seeking Electro-Mechanical Fitters to join their business.

Electro-mechanical Fitter  

£30,000 - £40,000 + Profit Share Bonus, Paid Overtime/Time in Lieu & Allowances

Site work - 90% UK Projects. Occasional stays away.

East Midlands.

Electro-mechanical Fitter  - The Role:

• Assembly of machines & equipment on site from manufactured components
• Testing of equipment with customers present
• Installation of equipment, proving performance against specification
• Servicing of existing equipment, repair and refurbishment
• Production of service reports from site visits
• Development of company policies & procedures adhering to best practice & legislative requirements

Electro-mechanical Fitter  - The Person:

• Flexibility to travel to customer sites throughout the UK
• Minimum of a higher NVQ 3 or 4, preferable HND qualified in a Mechanical field
• Experience assembling, dismantling & repairing large rotating machinery or special purpose machinery to a high standard
• High level of customer service skills
• Experience with Pneumatic circuits and building small PCBs
• Competent to safely work around electrical systems including 400V+
• Basic CAD skills
• Full UK valid driving licence with access to own vehicle

Service work carried out throughout the UK – around 6 weeks per year depending on work profile

Very occasional work in Europe or the US.

This role is based in the Derbyshire near to Chesterfield, Mansfield, Matlock, Ashover, & Tibshelf.
