Senior Project Manager - The Role:

  • Collect all contractual obligations, commercial & technical information available from the sales & proposal stage
  • Responsible to thoroughly understand, review and communicate stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members, and manage requirements
  • Establish clear ownership for project tasks
  • Establish the need of resources during each stage of the project, engage with Engineering Teams to ensure resources are available
  • Schedule and assign project tasks according to the contractual obligations and customer’s expectations
  • Maintain effective communication and working relationships with customers and project team members
  • Proactively communicate project status, issues & risks to Directors
  • Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder’s needs and requirements continuously in view
  • Facilitate productivity
  • Monitor budgets
  • Secure the quality and timely delivery of goods and components
  • Organise and attend FAT verifying the full availability of contract goods and needed documentation and instrumentation
  • Organise and attend site meetings and surveys with the customer
  • To follow up projects during installation and commissioning stage with particular focus on activities schedule and H&S topics

 

Senior Project Manager - The Person:

  • University Degree in Electrical Electronic Engineering
  • Formal qualification in Project Management
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the above
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project is required
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills
  • Familiarity with the Automation industry is a must

 

Role would be suitable for Managers with experience of business management, proposals, sales, project management and procurement. Willingness to travel for approx. 25% of time throughout the UK is required.
