Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

• Creation of schematic drawings for control cabinets and field installations using E-Plan
• Designing 2D control panel layouts, multi-line diagrams & specifying parts
• Preparing designs for manufacture working with external suppliers
• Supervision of electrical technicians and control of electrical build projects
• Management of electrical sub-contractors on design and build projects
• Travel to UK customer sites for machine installations

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

• Ideally HND or Degree qualified within an Electrical discipline
• Experience with Electrical CAD drawings (ideally EPlan)
• Working knowledge of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations (UK) & Machinery Directive (EU)
• Methodical & accurate with excellent communication skills

This role could suit an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking to support a growing business or a more junior engineer with some design experience who is seeking further training and development opportunities.

Located in the West Midlands, this role would be commutable from Wolverhampton, Dudley, Birmingham, Walsall and surrounding areas.
