Mechanical Design Engineer - The Role:

• Designing solutions using Festo FluidDraw CAD package.
• Skilled use of 3D modelling packages such as Solidworks or Inventor
• Following project plans and collaborating with the project team to ensure timely delivery of robot, conveyor and automation systems

Mechanical Design Engineer - The Person:

• Hands on experienced machine designer
• Knowledge of machine safety (ISO13849)
• Be familiar with design and construction standards
• Independent thinker with acute attention to detail
• Experienced in design & deployment of conveyor and transport technologies.
• Problem solver, highly motivated, passionate and results-driven
• Previous experience of working effectively in project teams to deliver projects on time and to budget
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational and multitasking skills
• A proven history in mechanical, automation engineering or related discipline
• Engineering degree with a mechanical bias or 3 years hands on experience in the field of industrial automation.

Located in Hampshire, this role would be commutable from Basingstoke, Reading, Woking & Bracknell.
