Mechanical Design Engineer - The Role:

• Conducting site surveys and gathering necessary data to produce and update drawings
• Determining the location of equipment and suitable routes for interconnections
• Issuing 'As Built' drawings upon project completion
• Specifying component details and suppliers to facilitate purchase orders
• Assisting in the production of installation manuals for clients
• Adhering to health and safety and quality management procedures
• Pursuing personal development of skills and knowledge for effective role performance

Mechanical Design Engineer - The Person:

• A minimum HNC Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent), with our client happy to fund further educational training
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
• A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach
• Flexibility and the ability to use own initiative
• AutoCAD skills are desirable, but training can be provided
