Control Panel Wirer  - The Role:

• Collaborate with the Automation division to build, wire, and install control panels
• Installing electrical equipment and instrumentation
• Verify required components against issued wiring diagrams & control panel layouts
• Coordinate with Electrical Design Draughtsman to optimise layouts and design
• Wire control panels based on issued diagrams, working closely with the Electrical Design Engineers and Automation Engineers
• Testing of the completed electrical installation prior to in house functional testing
• Finding and rectifying faults on manufactured plant equipment
• Planned and reactive building maintenance

Control Panel Wirer  - The Person:

• Apprentice trained technician who holds a formal Qualification in Electrical engineering - City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 equivalent preferred
• Have 17th/18th Edition wiring regulations qualification
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is highly advantageous 
• Strong fault-finding abilities with PLC’s, Inverters & Motors
• Experience in panel manufacturing
• Good inter-personal skills, teamwork, hands-on approach with effective verbal and written communication skills
• Conscientious and flexible attitude
• Ability to be proactive and work with minimal supervision
• Well organised and a strong work ethic

Located in Cheshire, this role would be commutable from Warrington, Ellesmere Port, Northwich, Knutsford and surrounding areas.
